This Refund Policy explains how payments, cancellations and refunds work for DockHosting subscriptions. It should be read together with section 3 of our Terms of Service.
1. Free plan first
The Free plan lets you deploy a real app — with a managed database, automatic HTTPS and CLI access — without entering any payment details. We encourage you to try DockHosting on the Free plan before upgrading.
2. Payments are non-refundable
Paid plans (Pro and Team) are billed monthly in advance through Paddle, our merchant of record. As stated in our Terms of Service, all payments are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
3. Cancelling
You can cancel anytime from your billing page in one click. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, plus a 7-day grace window, and you will not be charged again.
4. Upgrades and downgrades
Plan changes are prorated automatically by Paddle, so you only pay for what you actually use. A downgrade credit is applied to future invoices rather than refunded.
5. Failed payments
If a payment fails, your apps keep running for a 7-day grace period while Paddle retries your card. If payment still fails, your containers are paused until you update your payment method.
6. Statutory rights and billing errors
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you. If you believe you were charged in error — for example a duplicate charge — contact support@dockhosting.dev within 14 days and we will investigate with Paddle and correct any billing mistake.
